If i close my eyes
i can almost feel
your gentle hand on my cheek
or your caring arms around my waist
if i close my eyes
i can almost hear
your wonderful laughter
or your soft voice
telling me you love me
if i close my eyes
i can almost see
your sincere eyes staring at me
or your sweet hand weaved into mine
if i close my eyes
i can do a lot of things
but every time i close them,
i have to remember reality-
I'm going to smile and make you think i'm happy,
I'm going to laugh,so you don't see me cry,
I'm going to let you go in style,
and even if it kills me.
I'm going to smile!
